Requirements for Boarding, Daycare, Play & Train, and Grooming are listed below.

Vaccinations

Proof of vaccinations by a licensed veterinarian is required prior to coming in. We do accept titer testing as an acceptable alternative to vaccinations.

Required Vaccinations

  • Rabies: 1 or 3 year
  • Distemper/Parvo: 1 or 3 year (DA2PP, DHPP)
  • Bordetella: 1 year (If intranasal or oral must be 10 days prior to coming in)

Strongly Recommended

  • Negative fecal tests (This checks for intestinal parasites)
  • Monthly flea & tick preventive
  • Monthly heart worm preventive
  • Leptospirosis
  • Canine Influenza Vaccine

Spayed or Neutered

All dogs over the age of 6-7 months must be spayed/neutered to use daycare, boarding, and/or Play & Train services. This is not a requirement for grooming services, but they if your pup is not spayed/neutered and is above the age of 6-7 months, they will not be able to participate in the cage-less portion and will be kept in a luxury suite while they wait to be groomed.

Dog Friendly Environment

All new pups are required to visit our facility for a free trial day of daycare where we can evaluate how they will do at our facility and assess if Cuddle Up Pup is the best fit for them. We ask that you leave your pup for a minimum of 3 hours during the trial day, but it can be longer, that way it gives them time to settle in and adjust to the new environment. On the trial day, we will introduce your dog(s) slowly, meeting the other dogs in the group one at a time, into the daycare group that we feel will best suit their size and temperment. All dogs must be able to act friendly to the other dogs or at least tolerate them in daycare. If they are unhappy with the other dogs and are unable to tolerate daycare, we will be happy to discuss feedback with you and give you recommendations that we think could help your dog at our facility or may better suit your dog elsewhere because we want them to feel comfortable while you're away.
